This is a rare opportunity to travel with this dynamic duo of entertainers and educators.​ Sid has been teaching people about the natural science of the Flinders for 12 years.... and Booka's bloodline has been in this Country for many thousands.
We will be experiencing the raw elements of nature as we travel, camp, and explore our way into some of the most beautiful and underrated landscapes in Australia.

​Journey from Adelaide on a 5-day loop through the mighty Flinders Ranges up to Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary and back.

Your Itinerary
Day 1
Early pick-up in Adelaide. Straight though the Clare Valley, through historic towns, and into the Northern Flinders Ranges, to camp at the incredible formation that is Ikara-Wilpena Pound. A visit to Arkaroo Rock on the way to learn about the Yura Muda (creation stories) of Arkurra the serpent.

Day 2
We'll take the time today to enjoy the Pound and the ranges in Adnyamathanha Country. Walks and scenic flights are available this morning. From Ikara-Wilpena Pound we head north towards Blinman before heading towards Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary to set up camp and have dinner under the stars.

Day 3
The day is spent at Arkaroola. The morning begins with a Ridgetop tour (inc. $195 value) which is a 4.5-hour 4x4 adventure to the famous Sillers Lookout through the ancient history-rich Mt. Painter Inlier. (I used to run these tours, It's breathtaking!) The afternoon has a few options for walks, drives, rest, or scenic flights. Dinner at the restaurant (included in price), with the option to visit the observatory at night.

Day 4
Leaving Arkaroola, we head to Iga Warta, then Copley, and then into the ancient waterway of Parachilna Gorge to set up camp and enjoy the peace and wonder of the ancient waterway.
​
Day 5
Waking up in Parachilna Gorge, drive back down through the ranges and into Brachina Gorge, the famous 'corridor of time', a geological wonderland.
We then return to Adelaide along the Spencer Gulf. Arriving at 6 pm.
