Refund & Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your tour booking:

• 45 days or more prior to departure: You will receive a full refund.

• Between 30 and 45 days prior to departure: You will receive a refund minus the deposit.

• Between 14 and 30 days prior to departure: You will receive a 50% refund of the total tour price.

• Within 14 days of departure: No refund will be given.

Booking Credit Option

If you cancel more than 14 days before departure, you may choose to receive full booking credit for the total amount paid instead of a refund.

• Credit is valid for 12 months

• Credit may be used on any future sids.ventures tour

Transfers

• You may transfer your booking to another sids.ventures tour up to 14 days before departure

• Transfers can be to the same tour at a later date or to a different tour

• There is no transfer fee, but you may need to pay any difference in tour price

No-Shows & Early Departures

• If you fail to join the tour or leave early, no refund will be provided for unused services.

Non-Payment

• Failure to pay the final balance by the required due date will be treated as a cancellation by the participant, and the above cancellation terms will apply.

Operator Cancellation

• If sids.ventures is forced to cancel a tour for any reason, you will be offered either:

  • A full refund of all monies paid, or

  • Full credit (including deposit) toward a future sids.ventures tour

Third-Party Operators

• If sids.ventures is chartering another company to operate the logistical aspects of a tour, that company’s refund policy will apply, and this will be clearly communicated during the booking process.

General Terms & Conditions

By booking a tour with sids.ventures, you agree to the following:

• We strongly recommend that all participants take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation, medical expenses, personal injury, and loss or damage to personal belongings.

• sids.ventures reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a tour due to unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to, severe weather, natural disasters, or insufficient bookings. In such cases, a full refund or reschedule option will be offered.

• sids.ventures reserves the right to change the itinerary, activities, accommodation, or transport arrangements for safety, logistical, or operational reasons.

• sids.ventures reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or detrimental to the group. In such cases, no refund will be given.

• sids.ventures is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants due to itinerary changes, delays, or cancellations.

• Tours operate in remote areas of Australia and involve inherent risks. Participants must understand and accept these risks.

• Participants must be in good physical health and capable of participating in activities such as hiking and camping.

• Participants are responsible for their own travel insurance, medical insurance, and medical expenses.

• Participants must provide their own sleeping bag and personal equipment unless otherwise stated.

• Participants are responsible for their own belongings. sids.ventures is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

• sids.ventures will carry basic first aid equipment. Participants must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements prior to the tour.

• Participants must follow all safety instructions and comply with all state, federal, park, and local regulations.

• Participants are responsible for arranging their own transport to and from the tour start and end points unless otherwise stated.

• By participating in the tour, participants grant sids.ventures permission to use photographs and video taken during the tour for marketing and promotional purposes.

• Tour prices and these terms and conditions may be updated at any time.

• By booking, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
